A few years ago, I applied to teach at an international school in Korea. Everything was going fine in the application process, they loved my resume and everything I had to offer until it was time to complete a web-cam interview. They saw me and said "Oh, you look Asian." I replied, "Yes, my mother is Korean and my father is Italian." Needless to say, the job that was almost offered to me became a distant (bad) memory. Discriminated against because you look too Korean and discriminated against because you don't look Korean enough, unless you're Daniel Henney :P
