See the "Rules of the Road"!

Gravatar Cathy,

All I can do is echo the words of Sherman, "If nominated, I will not accept. If elected, I will not serve."...

Actually, you make a brilliant point. I've long thought that Norm's heart was really in running for governor, ever since his run against Humphrey and Ventura in 1998. IIRC, he even said at that time that he had no interest in going to Washington.

Will this recount fiasco hurt him? I don't know. But I think he has to be considered one of the contenders. Could be Michelle Bachman, unless she's thinking of taking on Klobuchar. (Personally, I'd like to see her take apart Franken.) Maybe Pat Anderson, although I don't think she's got the creds. Brian Sullivan? (If anyone remembers him.) Steve Swiggum? (He campaigned with me in 98, so I can't say anything bad about him.) One of the lesser-knowns? Or perhaps someone we haven't even heard of yet?

Now that I think about it, perhaps I have as good a chance as anyone...

Gravatar We're hearing it here in South Carolina, since Franken assures Graham and DeMint will not be heard in Washington.

New Senate plans are there to put Sotomayor into the Supreme Court, Cap and Trade, the homosexual agenda, the baby murder agenda, Card Check, and all sorts of craziness through without debate.

This is starting to remind me of Glenn Beck's playing of the Soviet National Anthem.

Gravatar Mitchell: I'd like Steve Swiggum. My Dad likes Jim Ramstad. He would be ok as well.

But, YOU, would be my ideal candidate! Really.

I think Coleman would want the Presidency. He's charming. He's articulate. Franken is not a good speaker. He needs to work on his "press" Lots of "Uh, um, er"

Gravatar Cathy,

Maybe we could get Vincenzo to work up some campaign posters?
