Your dad loves you. Know that. If he doesn't care, he would be doing what my dad did years ago. Leave me and my cute bro alone and wanted NOTHING to do with us whatsoever.

I am not trying to preach here, but most of the times, we do not know how fortunate we are until we lose we have taken for granted. (I'll blog about that over at "shelled & deshelled".)

Do what your dad wants you to. Take a picture of you in a club if he so insists on you to do so at the wrong time. He may nag, he may scream and ground you. But seriously, honesty IS the best policy. Let him know what you are up to, and if you can still keep up with your studies and out of the law, he shouldn't have anything to say.

I know you find me naggy at times la. But trust me, ok? I wouldn't do anything to harm you. I LOVE YOU! And if your dad is unreasonable, let me come to your house one day and talk to him. He'll see the point.

well compared to yourself i think i am worse off. so i guess that could comfort you a bit lah..
but i guess its also cos you and your dad are kinda like the only living beings in the house (other than your hamster cockroaches or the occasional ants which you exterminate with no mercy) so he tends to not want you to "go bad" ... so inless there is someone else as personal as you in his life or someone who he could entrust you to..he will ust be there to make sure things stay close.
