quintron lives and prevails and will be performing in memphis at the rockening the weekend before halloween. while jack white's presence in the media as a celebrity has been rubbing me the wrong way for a while now, probably irretrievably ruining my ability to enjoy anything he does henceforth... i think your review is probably pretty right on. while the stripes were rocking my home (brooklyn), i was in memphis, enjoying music from the magical source - seeing that week both greg and jack oblivian's current bands play live at goner fest.
