I've been wandering over here for a few weeks now -- I'm an interpreter for the deaf at our church, and I'm very interested in your CI (sounds like it is doing amazingly well!) Anyway, I just had to check in here because, I, too, have been in the market for a digital camera, so last summer when we went on vacation with my husband's cousin who does photography for the likes of "Vanity Fair" and ... some other high fashion mag that I can't remember, I took great notice of HIS point-n-shoot. It was a Sony Cyber Shot that you can get at all different MP's and prices. It's about as big as a deck of cards. Best Buy has several in your price range, I was looking specifically at this one:

because that whole "Super Steady Shot" technology that sounds like what I need the most on my digital camera.

On the camera thing... I have a Kodak Easy Share C875 -- it's small, fits easily in my purse and I use it almost everyday! I also have a Kodak Easy Share Z710... it's a bit bigger, and mostly sits on my desk and only gets used if I happen to have LOANED my little one to one of the kids, and I NEED to take a picture! LOL! Go small!

We have a World Market here. When you visit, I'll take you there. My kitchen has an island which I got from WM and I love it!

We have a Kodak Easy Share...it is all you have asked for....It is about the size of a deck of cards too.

So, I've changed my tune... How about a Nikon CoolPix? My children got them for Christmas from my sister and they take great pix.

Last week, I got my dad the Canon PowerShot A570IS 7.1MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom from Amazon. It is "on sale" for $139.95 with free shipping. It came in, and we tried it out over the weekend. It is an amazing camera! I have a Canon camera (I think it is an SD700 or something like that) but it is nowhere as impressive as this one. This one does the low-light thing in addition to giving you one-click access to about 10 other settings or more. I did not count how many different things you can do. You can take video clips as well. It is so easy to learn, it feels good in the hand....give it a look! If you do get it from Amazon, be sure to make sure that you are getting it from them, or you won't get the free shipping. We got the Kingston 2 GB memory card for an additional 10.95 so that we could take more pictures. The memory card that comes with it is laughable. Hope this helps!

We have a small Cannon and I love it. I like being able to carry it in my purse.
