I have been watching the news reports come in from South Baghdad since the Shrine bombing. The attacks have been consistent have Al-Quada’s mode of operation from very early on. I’m sure on the day of Shiite retaliation there was a certain amount of barricading and other defensive measures put together in various neighborhoods. Those probably had little to do with AQ. However, the Dora neighborhood has been one of the more active Al-Quada areas for a long time. That is where attachs on Shiite began. It would be hard to tell if this AQ offensive was preplanned. I tend to think that the local AQ took up the challenge in the immediate aftermath of the Shiite retaliations and now the area is attracting insurgents from all around in an attempt to further destablize the political situation.

I see, it might have helped if I proofread that last comment before putting it up.
I have been watching the news reports come in from South Baghdad since the Shrine bombing. The attacks have been consistent and have Al-Quada’s mode of operation from very early on. Immediately after the shrine bombing during the first day of Shiite retaliation there was a certain amount of barricading and other defensive measures put together in various Sunni neighborhoods. That probably had little to do with AQ. Later activities seem to have more planning behind them. The Dora neighborhood has been one of the more active Al-Quada areas for a long time. That is where attacks on Shiite have continued. It would be hard to tell if this AQ offensive was preplanned or a reaction to an opportunity to cause more chaos. I tend to think that local AQ took up the challenge in the immediate aftermath of the Shiite retaliations and now the area is attracting insurgents from all around in an attempt to further destabilize the political situation.
That's a bit better. Sorry
