could we get a NYC comparision? As violent as some of our cities are - I think it would be an interesting comparision

In the late 80's, the murder rate in New York City was 8 per day. Gen Lynch quoted a couple of weeks ago that the baseline on Murders in Baghdad is 10 per day.

The last couple of weeks have been very high.
