I write from Mosul:
an iraqi battalion near Al hadhar south of Mosul recieved orders to move to Ramadi to join the fight there. Only 17 soldiers stayed and the others fled home?!
A month ago a check point of the army in the same area fled thier position when they knew about millitants being near thier post. They abandoned thier weapons and fled to a nearby village. When the US army checked after a while and saw the running soldiers they eleminated the check point and fired all the soldiers from thier jobs??
