Nice to see the IA Div's AORs clearly mapped out for the first time since Jan.
Notice that 1st Div is already marked as In-lead although the cerimony is later this month.
Did you catch that they handover of IA Divs to IGFC is conceved at a rate of 2 per month but the PM decides if his command is ready? The current In-Lead would be turned over ~December. 2nd and 3rd IA Divs should be In-Lead by then. That leaves 10th (Basrah) and 7th (Western Anbar) for next year.
DBE is scheduled to have all the borders by end-year (will need help).
Long pole now is IP/INP/FPS problem and advising the ministries...

The INP problem is being addressed, the PM is going to pull each INP battalion out of service in rotation for enhanced training. So it will be mostly invisible.
The biggest problem with the INP was that the disinformation campaign about the Death Squads was fairly effective. So people don't trust them. They've got to spend a lot of time in trust building exercises with community leaders and the citizens.
This year is "The Year of the Police". (I expect it to run into next year.)
Next year: "The Year of the Air Force?" The Air Transport Group they have so far is nowhere near what they need to live in that neighborhood...
