Exactly why did we get into with Iran again?
Is it the Imam thing?
I heard one senator state (he is now passed away) who said they had offered repeatedly to talk to Iran and were never obliged by Iran. Iran would not talk ands he wanted to make it be known.
Doesn't Iran need to talk to us?
I mean we are in a place where stakes are high all right but it seems egos are getting in the way of progress.
If Iran desires to play a sucessful part in the world, should it not be willing to talk with and not at us and vice versa.

You know Joshua's birthday is coming and his wife is rearranging her daughters bd and all so it will not be so hard.
I stand in amazement of her and my Aunt who manage to wake up and keep going. I figure if they do it so can I.
Joshua's dad was a warrior who died in a crash piloting a Cobra when Josh was a baby and his other son Jacob was just a preschooler. Joshua was not a warrior in the sense like you guys but he fought like hell against cancer that ravaged his tall young body to the point of unbearable pain. He finally was told there was no more we can do and sent him home where he got into bed and never got out again.
But his wife said the last word she heard him say were "Wow". He would have been 26 this July. He left his baby daughter and a son. She says she sees him Joshua in the trees and feels him hug her with the wind. That sometimes she gets scared at night but she talks to him often. And if that makes her crazy then she'll take crazy. I understand that.
Sometimes we do what we have to do to get through tough times and I believe God helps me get through it. Long-suffering times. Times when we feel we cannot do one more minute, we are here for each other. When we are afraid or angry or both...I never thought I would be afraid to take a bath w/o someone around me because it brought back bad memories of when I had Jess call the ambulance and took that ride in the ambulance and my life changed forever. When people you live with look at you like you are nuts sometimes because you cry at the thought of reliving that again and again...so you wait for someone who will sit with you while you take a bath...just in case. Or when my head hurts, fear jumps on me and I pray Lord help me get through this.
Never forget that...but it gets easier.
I don't know what happened in June but I am here if you need someone.

I even have days when I wonder if it would've been better to have gone on...i look at my family and know that it would not have.
I know what it feels like to feel like I am a burden.
I know what it feels like to feel like I am useless.
To feel afraid amd angry.
To cry inside and cry outside.
To relive it at least once a day.
I know life is precious and fast.

Question for everyone:
What are the lastest opinion polls from Afghanistan? Some friends of mine are asking. And opinion polls are very important for those who believe that the vast majority of Afghans strongly back AQ and the Taliban. (There are many of them around. Go to any college campus.)

Anamd
dont know the anwser on the poll question. I bet the ones you refer to that THINK the majority supports these groups do NOT understand the difference between SUPPORT and INTIMIDATION.
Tell them to look in the nearest big city for areas that are run by "gangs and thugs". Do these folks support the thugs, NO. They are intimidateds and look away and try to stay alive. I suggest the MAJORITY afgans and Iraqis are in same boat.
Remove the thugs and the real folks come back out and thrive!
