I think you're right, the rules are different, but I also think it really depends on a persons true relationshipo with the blog. If that PR professional had left thoughtful comments on 40 of that blogger's previous entries (over the past several months), he might not have minded the question about Hawaii.

I stumbled upon this blog after reading the pamphlet for eMarketing Techniques. The only session I really want to attend is yours (Online Public Relations) and I am not able to attend this year (I went to last year's eMarketing clinic).
