First, thanks for such an exciting blog. Your system is very interesting, and inspiring.
So far, everyting is more or less clear, but I don't see the difference between Record Card and Reference Card. For example, take a recipe. If you discovered your own dish, it should go upder Discovery, right? But what if you just heard about this from someone or read in a book. Does it go to Record Card or to a Reference Card? This is not your information, but you record it for yourself. What are the criteria where to put it?
Thanks again!

You are right for the Discovery Card. And the second is Reference Card.
"This is not your information". This is the criteria. And all Reference card is for yourself, anyway.
At the beginning of this system, there are only three cards, Record, Discovery, and GTD. That time I put all record, including quote from book, into Record card. But If I mix someones record (like a book) into Record Card, I cannot divide my record and someone's record later. So I introduced Reference card.
In my Dock, the Reference cards are not so much like Record cards. It is good for searching Reference Cards.

But in your description of Record card, you mentioned cooking recipe:
"Diary, note, account, health, weather, cooking recipe are classified into this 1st kind."
So, is recipe a Record or Reference? I'm confused now :)

I understand the difference.
"What I ate today" : This is Record card.
"Recipe" from a book : This is Reference Card.
I corrected the discription. Thanks for your mention! ;)
