Gravatar Mustang,

When does a military historical fact fade into a sea story?

On the other hand, so many sea stories that I've heard, more often than not, turned out to be pale reditions of what actually transpired.

The Corps of our youth was most definately filled with all sorts of characters. I am confident you could write a column a day for the next decade or so and not run out of material.

Do keep it up. It brings smiles to my face.

I do recall standing in the dark at Camp Lejeune. I, too, served in the 8th Marine Regiment (H/2/8 to be exact). Ah, what times!

Gravatar Hey Mustang,

Good to see you're still using the original design. Makes me happy to see things stay intact. So many things change into something else with such frequency.

Gravatar Thanks, Gus. If it isn't broken, then it doesn't need fixing. Warmonger did such a great job with this site (and Social Sense) that it doesn't need any tweeking.

I appreciate your visit!

Gravatar Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it.

nudge, wink

I relocated, retired for a while and reformed with a different persona, but I'm the same guy. Did it to avoid having to legally charge some guy for e-stalking.

Gravatar Mustang, thank you for stopping by. Semper Fi! Marines are the BEST!

Gravatar What is that genius level thing about? A joke?

Gravatar I rest my case, folks.

Gravatar No wonder you lose all your cases.

Gravatar I bought Mr. Cube a copy of "The Old Breed" a long time ago. He often mentions Sledge.
