I agree with you completely. These medical workers put up with all kinds of crap from kids whose parents won't make them mind and have no control over them. From drunks, druggies, crazies, you name it. The patient and the family have a responsibility.

Having said that, this medic should have known better. He/she could have contracted or transmitted something to or from the patient. Never ever make contact like that.

I'll stick right there with you! A generation ago, we had no idea that people with AIDS were permitted to continue working in hospitals. Call it intolerant of me or not, NO ONE is going to bite my son!

NOTE: He is with God, so I do not have to worry about him. I'm just sayin'...
