Look, I despise The Obamassiah. Utterly completely despise him. He has proven himself to be satanic in character by his serial slanders of others. I in no way, shape, fashion or form extend to him even the respect due a felow human being. He is beneath contempt, IMO.
But.Rather than fling thin accusations against him, throw--hard!--substantive ones. Oh, ridicule, deride and sneer all you want as well, but make sure such comments are separate from substantive accusations.
Lowering our standards of "scandal" even slightly toward the Obama camp's level is unworthy of any of us.
BTW, I also don't hold with those who assert that the rest of The Obamassiah's "pig speech" is necessarily plagiarism of a (assinine) Tom Cole political caretoon, even though the phrasing and content is quite similar. Why? Heck, the Mass Media Podpeople and Dhimmicraps have spent so much time in bed together, shared so much "pillow talk" and even spores *heh* that the strong similarities between a Mass Media Podperson's political cartoon and an Obamassiah speech (not to mention all the other similar comments by Obamassiah operatives and campaign workers preceding it) are not dispositive. Heck, what a member of the Hivemind thinks and says and what a Dhimmicrappic Obamaite thinks and says are already virtually indistinguishable.
Second, that dog won't hunt. Accusations of plagiarism of common Dhimmicrappic tropes will get a big "Huh?" from independant thinkers, cries of outrage from Hivemind/Dhimmicrappic mindless drones and dries of "Huzzah!" from similar drones on the right.
A worthless argument that is likely to serve only to disaffect thinking people.
And that's also the crux of my argument gainst outrage about the lipstip/pig comment. I believe that folks who think it through in its full context will see that outrage about the comment as an Obamassiah slur against Palin is... silly.
Now, if SHE took it as an affront, then fine. She can easily handle an empty suit, a patzer, like the Obamassiah on her own.

Agreed; I did say 'suspect' implying I see a pattern developing.
Two data points don't necessarily establish a trend, but it is a start. A trend of belittling and dismissing Gov. Palin, that is. Why should Obama get away with it? After all, the opposition wouldn't be so lenient if the shoe were on the other foot.
And, it is not the role of the Gov. Palin to take offense; that role belongs to her supporters.
