I loved that play for the sense of oblivion it gave you. Just reading it aloud in rehearsals cast a gloom over me, no matter how bright and cheerful the room was.
I think everyone who reads the book should be forced to perform it themselves.
I actually have it in French, but didn't get around to read it yet. My French is not that good.

I performed the English version, because I am an uncultured American Pig who can't be bothered to learn any language more complex than pig latin.
