What a nice get-away! I've been to Edinburgh several times for work (I live in Florida, USA) and really like the city! I'm always so busy with work that I've never had time to tour the castle or old town, but I recognized bits from your photos because I walk everywhere (I can barely adjust to the traffic patterns well enough to safely cross the streeet - never mind actually drive!). I'm glad you had a relaxing and enjoyable time.

Ooo! Abakhan. I found their web site for the first time the other day. I don't know how I missed it before as I am always trawling the web for fabric and yarn. I don't have much choice locally but am planning a visit to their Preston branch as that is very close to my Mum. Can't wait.

Edinburgh sounds lovely we are planning a couple of stop offs on our holiday in September and could use a recomendation for a place to stay, it must be child friendly though as we are taking our little daughter.
