Blessings! It's a great time! You'll love it! I'm evidence of being a trainee during that decade, and I can honestly say: "God can do a lot with a 40 something!!!" 
My brother was surprised by 40 guests & 40 candles on the cake, which my nieces enjoyed helping with, until the group formed a bunny hop line (or perhaps a "conga line" today) behind my brother -- and before the music started, the youngest of the 2 girls said, in a loud & shocked tone, "You're this old, Dad?" It's merely a different way for her to say, "You are as old as dirt, Dad." By the way, you do remember my brother's name is also Keith!
Ah, the thoughts of the children. They are an amazing expression of God's joy! Enjoy!
This note will help put it into perspective:
At the annual science conference, the top scientists, after decades of research and study, discovered a way to create/clone. So, they actually decided it was time to "meet with God" and let God know he could retire.
They sent the youngest scientist in the room (he was probably turning 40
God greeted the scientist and before a word was spoken, God said, "I know why you are here. You need a good night's rest to think about this, as we will settle this in the morning and it is important for you to make a plan, and to remember, you are not able to start with anything I created."
The next morning, the scientist looked tired when he met with God.
God said, "Have you come up with a new plan?"
Scientist responded, "Have to trust I will know what to do, because we have always studied and researched the current species."
God smiled as he responded, "Ah, yes, the one's I have already created, that are for you to enjoy in all of creation."
Scientist said, "Yes, so to speak."
God smiled and said, "OK, let's begin," as God reached down and picked up a hand full of dirt.
Then, God noticed the scientist reach down to pick up some dirt, when God said, "No, son, for this experiment, you will have to start with your own dirt."
So, dear Pastor Keith, "It's OK to be as old as God's old dirt...and, to be made completely of God's old dirt."
