On a serious note, there was one piccy showing a bunch of naked creatures with a sign saying, "We need our bodies more than Bush does." What's up with that? I suppose these creatures were so geared up to show what they don't have that they forgot to check their memory; or perhaps they don't have a memory bank anymore, because THERE IS NO MORE DRAFT. And to be quite frank, these would be the last bodies that anyone would want.

It's odd to me that they claim Capitalism is about death when socialism/communism has claimed so many lives--and not because people willingly gave them--but because the murdering thugs tortured, beat and murdered them for not agreeing. Millions of Christians have been killed by communists--millions of innocent lives have been taken in order to beat people into submission, have their children ripped from them, and to call government their God.
After we withdrew from Vietnam, millions died in the killing fields of Vietnam and Cambodia...
And leftists like John Kerry did their damndest to leave our POWs in their hands in order to "normalize relations" with Vietnam. Sickening!
John Kerry was one of the Marxists back int he day wearing a red headband and holding signs for Chairman Mao, marching "for peace"--which means something altogether different to the peace protesters, as you so eloquently point out here.

I've always said that Liberals are just Socialists who want to be loved... but then again, Socialists are just Communists who lack the courage of their convictions.
The people behind the "antiwar" movement aren't well-meaning misguided fools. They are evil, and their motivation is unadulterated malevolence.

Cao: Excellent point about the roughly 120 MILLION DEATHS that occured under Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Saddam, etc. etc. etc. As you and others have pointed out, Josef Stalin said something like "one death is a tragedy, one milliion deaths is a statistic" Seems the moral compass that socialists use cannot register horror on the scale we have seen it, nor of course accept any responsibility.
That dovetails into what Van Helsing says and I couldn't agree more. I know that most people would rather not face that truth, it's too painful to contemplate the responsibility that attaches to their doing nothing to stop it.
CavalierX I know that our lefty friends will not agree. But frankly, there's not more than a dimes worth of difference between your typical liberal, socialist and communist. There may be a difference in tone and emphasis, but the consequence of their program is the same.

Good post. I've also posted recently about her militant socialist supporters. How is it that the major media doesn't cover anything beyond the superficial "anti-Bush, anti-war" aspect of this tiny brain bitch?
You know the answer to that JustaDog... Exposing the freaks and fools on the left would totally undercut the message which is "get Bush" and "get US out of Iraq."

I would say socialism/communism has killed more than 100 million - but of course, we all know that it is really religion that kills people.
Socialsim/commnism also kills by draining the life and soul out of people who yearn for freedom. Just look at Eastern Europe. Does anyone think that the people of those nations for 40-45 years really wanted to be under the thumb of the USSR? Go interview some of the people who are still around who were free before the Soviets stormed into Poland along with their brothers in arms the Nazis and who now are free again. Those people are the true observers of the wages of socialism and communism.
I wonder if any of those people dying to get over the Berlin Wall would say they liked being in a socialist/communist society. I wonder if the ones, when Honecker said they were free to leave tore down the wall would say they were happier under socialism/communism.

Isn't it amazing that we STILL have people who think communism wasn't so bad?
So blinded to the lessons of history that they overlook real evil in the world in their mad dash to condemn the only people doing something to stop it.
