Whoo-hoo! I've been waiting for this one! I'm about to read through it; but I wanted to let you know that Ex-Donkey Blog also has a Reagan post up today. It's now the weekend, so I don't know if he'll respond, but you might check to see if he's interested in having his post mentioned (well...whether he likes it or not, I just did) in the celebration.

Btw...Gayle left a couple of comments here and there (I think one in my Reagan post) responding to your question on embedding pictures. (So did I for that matter). She was looking to e-mail you.
Basically, if I understood your question, you just click and drag the photo to where you want it, after uploading.

Wordsmith: Thanks for the tip on dragging the photos. That blogger editor is a marvel in some ways, a real devil in others. I spend half my post-writing time tweaking and re-editing all the blogger screw ups.

Mike,
Thanks again for putting this tribute week together. It has been great to remember President Reagan in this way. He is always a part of us in many ways and his impact on each of us and the nation will always be felt. Great week!

most people tend to forget that the 3 politicians that dealt the final death blows to the USSR were Reagan, Thatcher, and the POPE.

You spent a ton of time and energy on this spectacular, a labor of love. I'm so pleased that TMH's Bacon Bits could be a small part of it. Thanks!
God Bless Ronald Reagan and God Bless America!

Always On Watch told me to come over here and I'm glad I accepted the invitation. Some great memories of a great man. I was young when Ronald Reagan was president but he motivated me and I joined the Marines reserves partly because he lit inside me a patriotic fire that I still carry today. Despite all the political back and forth and despite what many feel is a polarized country, this country always comes together in times of need and always will. Ronald Reagan was a beacon of light in a time of darkness and let us through the fall of communism. Who will pick up the torch now?

Mike - another way of moving pictures is to go into edit html mode, copy the code for the pic that has been loaded and paste it anywhere that you want it to go in relation to the text that you have written. Then delete the code from the spot where you originally copied it.

Thanks Wild Thing. The photos you posted on your own tribute are a reminder that President Reagan was the "Great Communicator" in more than words.
Monica: I didn't think of cutting and pasting the code. One thing is for sure, blogger is free and you get what you pay for. One of these days I hope to find a really user friendly, versatile blog setup and put my page together the way it should be.

Mike,
I guess I just didn't get enough of Reagan this week. I made one more: a post-celebration post.
Also, since you are now the master of moving pictures around....I can't figure out how the heck you block quotes in those rectangle boxes. I've looked up html codes, and haven't found what I'm looking for.

You do know that reagan is dead? He was a vegetable, moron, third rate actor and terrible president. You are obviously a bit of a reagan fanatic (kind of sad actually considering you're an adult).
Yes I did not capitalize his name because he doesn't deserve it.

Mark: We've been a moonbat free zone nearly all week. But leave it to one bitter hate-filled worm to crawl out from under the rock and prove why so many like him/her/it are utterly irrelevant to any serious political discussion or historical analysis.

There is always someone trying to tear down the great people. That's all I have to say about that.
Great tribute, Mike. President R. R. Reagan was a great President (all capitals on purpose!).
clinton could only wish to be as good a President as President Reagan. Capitalization (and non capitalization) intended.
Over the last 30 years who can the two sides look to as their Great Leader? We had Ronald. R. Reagan, President George H. W. Bush, and President George W. Bush and the libs have clinton, kennedy, and gore. Now THAT's contrast in people.

Ian posted a similar pointless statement at my blog, too. Ironic, isn't it, that libs fancy themselves to be the "compassionate" ones??

I think one thing that has been overlooked was President Reagan's heroic efforts during WW11. Like so many of his generation, he did't hisitate to answer his country's call and risk his life to defend our freedoms.
Or wait, maybe I'm getting him confused with somebody else.
