Oh come on, Mike! You're not going to fall for the old "reporter traveling with an actual Army unit" trick are you? At least, not again.
I wasn't there. You weren't there. How do we know this "reporter" (yeah, right!) was really in Baghdad, Iraq? How do we know that he wasn't really in Baghdad, ARIZONA? Riddle me that, Mikeman!

The msm slant and downright glee--that second one pisses me off--about possible civil war in Iraq is obvious. However, for different reasons, mainly ideological ones and material I learned from Patai's The Arab Mind, I believe that civil war there is very possible. I am yet to be convinced that tribal warfare, ever a tradition among Muslims, is going to disappear easily and quickly. Furthermore, the provision for shari'a law in the Iraq Constitution will put the opposite direction from democracy as the West defines the term.
Nevertheless, I support the effort to bring democracy to Iraq. In fact, we are morally obligated to do so. For that reason, I support GWB on this issue.
Mike, are you familiar with Michael Yon? I have links to his work at my site.

Hello! Why would any self-respecting journalist leave the soothing comfort of the Baghdad Hilton hot tub to creep around in the 'dusty, reeking alleys of Baghdad'?

For me, though, memories of Baghdad will be the cannoneers of the 1st Platoon walking the dusty, reeking alleys of Baghdad

Indigo:
Funny. I didn't know there was a Baghdad, Arizona. Let alone a UFO problem there.
The NYTimes could station their reporter's there. They could still do their same misleading job and there is always the chance they would get abducted by aliens... or perhaps they already have been.
AOW:
I've read some of Yon's reports. I guess they are making a movie based on his work.
Skye:
The Baghdad Hilton hot tub? Now there's a visual. Wouldn't the burkas and beards clog the filters?
