Unfortunately for the Dems, Americans such as myself don't share in the Democrat vision for America.

Maybe they'll combine Billary's village book and Crazy Al's global warming book and go out on tour with them - that would be a hoot to see.

LOL--Nancy Pelosi needs to interview to be a comedian on SNL. What a joke!!
I was pleased to read this morning that the democrats are in disarray. Kerry is becoming solidly anti-war (no more flip-flopping, at least for this week) and wants to introduce legislation to pull out the troops. Hillary got booed by a left wing crowd for not being anti-war. Its just so sad to see, not!!
Someone commented on my blog that the democrat party is the Eeyore party. Isn't that the truth? And my advice as always is: Good luck w/that!!!!

I find it Ironic that she is coming around to this notion. I think bashing Republicans does them much more good than espousing their own agenda. Unless its a voice a "blue-dog" conservative Democrats (and there aren't to many of those in leadership roles...) I just don't see it. I have no problem supporting a Democrat that has salient vision of America, that can reign-in the waste in the entitlement programs, that has a pragmatic view of the military and or the war; but try as I may I have yet to find such a mutant.
The real battle here is for the true "deciders" of the elections,.. those 3 to 5% swing voters... and just by up-swing in Bush's poll numbers since Bolten took over it does not look like a perfect storm of events for the Demos.

Truth-Pain : 'We are not human, we are Demos!'
Jefferson, Reid, Pelosi, etc getting caught with hand in the money jar it would be smart for them to stop banging on the tin-drum called corruption.
However for them to run on their beliefs is a non-starter because so many moderates would be turned off as the true face of the Democratic Pary would be revealed as an autocratic humourless super nanny-state stealing every last cent from the citizens.
All I have to say is 'gombatte yo democlats!'

That's quite amusing...'cept we could be accused of being the "Dumbo" party.

The Dems have been using the Republican-bashing to keep from drawing attention to the Dem platform.
Maybe some Americans support the platform, but not many, IMO.

Truth-Pain: That "perfect storm" for 2006 was an illusion anyway.
We all know, from having to endure the delusions of countless moonbats here and elsewhere, that the Dems do not represent anything like a natural majority in this country.
They are holding that big shindig in Washington to "Take Back America."
That's further proof of their delusion. What they should call their clan gathering is "Impose our Will on the Majority" because it was never their country to begin with.
We let the Dems run wild going back to last Fall and many of us were concerned that we wouldn't pull the nose of the plane up in time. But it looks like we are doing just that.

"It's time for us to talk about what are the priorities we'd like to see addressed, if we have the opportunity,"
"...if we have the opportunity,"
I think that says it all right there, if we have the opportunity. That sounds to me like Pelosi doesn't truly believe the DNC will have that opportunity in the foreseeable future. Anyway, that needs to be our number one priority without exception - to see to it the the opportunity does not come along for the Dhimmicrats to talk about their priorities! (As if they really had any...)

Democrats need to begin promoting their own vision of America.
I could have SWORN that they've been saying that since the 2000 election!

You're right Jonathon... They have been telling each other they need to explain their vision to America FOR YEARS!
Perhaps what Pelousy meant by "opportunity."
The reason they can't explain their vision is that they can never agree on what it is.
