-15, Lows Keep Getting LOWER!

Gravatar As I said on my own blog...if Bush were the Tyrant Hugo and the Lefties say he is, that would have been Hugo's last speech, if he'd dared make it to begin with.

Gravatar I bet Cindy Sheehan gave Hugo the books on his nightstand.

He's pandering to the American Left. He saw what Ahmadinejad did and he's following suit.

Gravatar Move over Noriega, you got a roommate.

Gravatar "...Ahmadinejad did and he's following suit."

At least at a minimum Chavez had the respect to wear a tie, unlike Ahmni-Jihad.

I made a post earlier on my blog talking about how Chavez did make some very valid points, believe it or not! But for the most part it was a long rant that would have saved all of us a lot of time by just saying "American sucks, next."

Gravatar Why do we have to put up with this crap?

Gravatar Awesome Samuel Adams quote. I laughed out loud when I heard what Bolton's response was to this:

"Chavez had the right to express his opinion, adding it was "too bad the people of Venezuela don't have free speech."

That says it all!!

I actually heard Chavez's speech and just sat there incredulous that we have to put up with this crap on our own soil. But like Rush said, he agrees with Chavez on one thing, the UN shouldn't be in the U.S. Amen to that!!

Gravatar El Jefe:

You really outdid yourself in your post: "jejune little caperings," and Ahmadinejad as a "Stop and Go clerk" are great lines.

Atheling2: Did you notice how similar the rhetoric is between these guys and the Moonbat left in this country?

Jay: Hugo kind of looks like a Noriega clone doesn't he?

MD: I agreed with Chavez too that the UN should be taken out of New York. But something tells me the pampered potentates who work there do't want to relocate to Caracas.

Marie: I ask myself the same question all the time.

LMC: Can you believe that we still haven't gotten Bolton confirmed? Everything he says is pure gold.

Gravatar I don't know if to laugh or cry. Chavez you guys is not supported by the most of the Venezuelans if just U.S help the rebels(That being chased), Chavez would be kicked off.

Yom Tom, Mike.

Gravatar Great post Mike! I especially like the Samuel Adams quote.

Let's not forget another sordid little chapter of Mr. Chomsky - Hanoi April 1970.

Gravatar It's pure crappola to have Hugo Chavez here on our soil in the first place! And seeing him cross himself as he called GWB "el diablo" made me want to puke.

Gravatar at least now the left will have a clearer photo of who they are aligned with. he really could not have done a greater service to the right.

GO HUGO - keep on yappin'!

Gravatar The nerve.

After all we've done for Latin Americans. Chile. Argentina. Nicaragua. Cuba. Panama. El Salvador. Romero. Allende. Contras. Etc.

And some of them still don't like our government.

Go figure.

Gravatar Including you, stoned? I'd almost think you were a fan of communism. Go figure!

Gravatar nanc: The left doesn't care who it aligns itself with as long as that person or country hates the United States government as much as they do.

That hate trumps all over concerns over environmental or nuclear issues.

After all, if the United States is the biggest threat to world peace, why not make friends with dicators and thugs?

Gravatar Kev-

I'm a taxpayer. Citizen. Love my country. Grateful to be here.

Not very happy with much of what my gov't does.

Probably just like you though we may differ in the details.

Gravatar If you love your country, then why do so many of you embrace commie thugs who would destroy it?

Gravatar Hasn't every one of the DNC leadership been photographed hugging their new BFF - Chavez?

This is a golden opportunity for the Republicans, Mike.

BTW - Midnightblue is almost operational, I did not believe the redesign would take as long as they did...I am itching to get back into the fight, Mike.

Gravatar Mike wondered:

If you love your country, then why do so many of you embrace commie thugs who would destroy it?

Hugo Chavez or Fidel can do no harm to the most powerful nation on the planet.

But our misguided military adventures round the globe can be very harmful to our cause.

Gravatar Arhur: I feel your pain !

What a shame you have to be embarrassed by the UN speeches of Chavez and A mad Jihad.

All those Democrat talking points spouted so openly in this forum presents you with a real problem.

Whose side are you ON???

Gravatar Mike,

I can't describe the disappointment I have after watching day after day of this garbage with Mini-Castro and Ahmedonogood.

I wrote about it today, because I am sick of these charades that are going on in New York.

Gravatar Hugo Chaves showed how useless and what a joke the the United Nations has become..

Gravatar Michael and Utah: This is probably the only good that came out of having those two loons in this country: The American people got the chance to see them up close and personal on our soil and realize just who and what they are.

Hopefully, that experience makes us better prepared to confront the evil represented by these two goons.

Gravatar Did any catch Rangel backpedaling his support for Chavez?

I only mention this because Arthur doesn't own a television and I'd like to help keep him up-to-date with current world affairs

Gravatar "I love my country. Which is why I am going to criticize everything it has done from 1621 through today!!!!"

Right!

That guy sounds like a lot of liberals I know who claim they are conservative. "I criticize the left as much as I do the right. I am a moderate."

Then they proceed to bash bush and call him things like "Hitler" for 8 paragraphs and at the end they say, "Oh and I'm mad at the Democrats, too! See? I'm not for either side!"

If we just had a couple million more citizens like Stone there, just think we could all be learning German, or Russian, or Chinese right now. Just think of the possibilities!

Gravatar You can always spot the phony moderates W.F. As you say, they usually include only a couple of throway lines to trash the Democrats and dump the biggest load of @#$* on us.

Skye: I think Rangel is worried about the backlash. Too many Dems got a bit too cozy with the Crazy Commie Chavez. And when Hugo started mouthing their own hate Bush talking points he became a political problem for them.

Gravatar stoned--Perhaps I'm dumber than even I thought I was, but I can't detect love or gratitude for our country in any of your writings. I do indeed have disagreements with some things my government does, as I did with the clinton administration and the carter administration, especially. Do you know what I did about it? I excercised a right a military force won for me, and I voted them out. I did not unite with known communist organizations against my president, nor did I defend terrorists in any way against my country or president.

I didn't agree with clinton's sending troops into Somalia, with no clear reason for our being there, no clear operational plan for the soldiers there, and no exit strategy (other than cut and run, as it turned out), but I supported that decision and the military who went there because he was my president and it was my country.

I was absolutely against sending people into kosovo because there was no modicum of threat to this country, there obviously was no exit strategy, and we were getting in the middle of a historical civil war, none of our business, and probably on the wrong side. But, it was my country, my president, and I supported him and our military.

Why, you might ask? Because I do love my country and I'm grateful as hell to be here, to raise my family here, and I mean to preserve it for my family and their families, and I'm thankful for all of our military who put their lives on the line to accomplish this.

Gravatar Kev: When Democrats are in office, the old rules, such as "politics stops at the water's edge" apply. You won't find ONE statement made by former President Bush made while overseas (or in this country) critcizing President Clinton's handling of Kosovo or Somalia.

Too bad that Democrats like Clinton and Carter are so classless. I don't know which is worse: Carter insulting Tony Blair, bascially calling him George Bush's lapdog, or Bill Clinton calling Iraq a mistake when was in the Middle East.

These and multiple other statements by both of them and nearly every other Democrat undermine our ability to be succesful in national policy and to work with our allies around the world.

But Democrats always claim the moral high ground. Take for example the Code Pink protestors outside Walter Reed Army Hospital. One young know-nothing actually said that he was there protesting because the injured troops could not.

It completely escaped this loon that the troops did not want him to speak for them. They joined the military of their own free will. Even some of those who were injured, or lost limbs in battle are eager to return to their units. Re-enlistment remains high.

The bottom line is that the Dems speak not for our troops and not for our country, but for themselves in a selfish, slavish bid for political power. It's the most disgusting thing to witness during a time of war when a lack of unity encourages our enemies and costs lives.

If Dems like Arthur really loved their country as much as they claim, they would unite with us to win this long war. Sadly, a number of them have made a pact with the enemy.

Gravatar Bill Clinton was GB, France, Germany, and China's lapdog.

But no former President ever said that.

Gravatar I had to laugh when I heard that when Chavez went to Harlem and talked he waved the Chomsky book around and said he wished he could meet him and was sorry that he was dead.

Chomsky is still alive.

Gravatar I'm surprised Chomsky wasn't on the charter plane that Jesse "shakedown" Jr. took down to Venezuela last year:

http://mikesamerica.blogspot.com...en- katrina.html

Just about every crazy whacko of the left was there. It was only later, after the witch Sheehan had achieved her fame that she led a second pilgrimmage.

When asked what he thought about Chavez, Chomsky said found Chavez's policies "quite constructive."

Apparently, beatings, torture and killing of political opponents, firing them from state jobs, using the list of those who signed a recall petition to direct police harrasment.... that's "constructive."
