What I found to be funny was the tradition of the MLK Day party was started by a black kid attending the school a couple of years ago! Didn't hear too much about that in the press. I read about it on smokinggun where they published the pictures.
Hey Mike don't forget Jesse Jackson and his , "Himey town, "comment in reference to jews! The true racists are liberals. Let's see Charlie Rangle, Ted Kennedy, Louis Farakam, just to name three who make continual racist remarks and get away with it because they ARE liberal.
Oh the humanity!!! Someone was insulted, you can't swing a dead terrorist nowadays without hitting someone that isn't offended by something. Darn crackers, have they no feelings? Whenever I see or hear of anything of this nature I always ask myself; self, were these same people offended by the Rev. Jesse Jackson when he refrred to New York City as "Hymmie Town"? Are these people that claim to be so offended become so offended when the Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan goes on his famous rants against jews?

Jennifer & Ken: You both know how it works in lefty land. Lefties know that the Jesse "Shakedown" Jacksons and Louis "mother ship" Farrakhan are racists. But they excuse it because they don't expect blacks to be capable of upholding the same standard they do for everyone else (but especially for Republicans).
That's why they have to tear down Condi, Clarence, Colin, et. al. Those are role models for Americans who can get along just fine without the crutch of liberal Democrat guilt and racism.

I am a caucasian woman and I was offended by the pictures at the party. Political affiliation had nothing to do with that nor did it have anything to do with the Black students who were offended. The photos and the party were offensive because the intent was to mock stereotypes of African-Americans that have been built up in this country for hundreds of years. There is nothing funny about making fun of people who have done nothing to deserve it. Did you think that posting the offensive cartoons of Condoleeza Rice etc. was funny? Do you not think that she finds them offensive? Just because she's a Republican it doesn't mean she isn't hurt by your posting them. If she sees them, she won't care who you are, she will care that you are taking part in the process of hurting her. You might not find them offensive but how are you in a position to judge? Perhaps you are a lucky guy and no one has ever done anything that has hurt you. If that's true, it's a shame really because it might give you the sense of humanity you are lacking that makes you believe that those of us who were hurt by this so-called party are in the wrong.

The point of posting the vulgar, racist and offensive cartoons was to remind people about the double standard.
If only the professional race baiting crowd was as offended by the caricatures of a highly successful, educated and accomplished African American woman as they were over some kid dressed as Aunt Jemima the world would be a better place.
