Wow! Great picture of our traditional Independence Day celebration closing fireworks!

Lee Greenwood's song still flashes me back to Desert Shield. Armed Forces Radio played it about every fifth song for the first four months after we arrived while we were preparing for Desert Storm.

America' freedom was bought with the blood of partiots who were willing to pay the price so that you and I could enjoy our personal liberties. That very precious commodity - freedom - stands threatened again today by those who hate us for who we are; and again we have brave partiots willing to pay the price to ensure we continue to enjoy our personal liberties. God bless every soul that has given his/her life and those who have served and especially those serving today in our Armed Forces. And may God add a special blessing to their families.
