Gravatar Wonderful picture and post, Benning! You are an extremely lucky man to have met President Reagan personally.

Gravatar I also like your flower up top!

Gravatar Thanks Gayle. I took down the hibiscus until after the holiday.

Gravatar What a great man to highlight in starting the Fourth's celebrations!

Thanks, Mike...........THAT was an AMERICAN!

Gravatar Oh God Mike,

That took me back.

God knows and you know how much I LOVED President Ronald Wilson Reagan.

There will NEVER be a Replacement!

Thank you for that

Gravatar Hey Mike, great stuff, thanks for stoking the memories-

I was at that Perrysburg for that whistlestop tour in 1984- I was just searching to see a picture of that train, and you had it posted! And it's an excellent shot, I can see why it's your fave.

I was a student at BGSU and saw him our auditorium, but decided to catch his next stop the next day 20mi north.

I blog as the Reaganite Republican, so obviously the Gipper had his effect on me!

-James

Gravatar James: I was the guy who started the BGSU Students for Reagan Bush group that brought the President to town. Glad you were there. Many fond memories to be sure, but also a mandate for our future.
