Great pics Mike. I posted on this yesterday and have been watching as many of the programs that have been aired throughout the weekend and today as has been possible.

I remember every aspect of this like it was yesterday and seeing it played over again creates the same excitement and emotion that I felt in 1969. Tremendous men accomplishing the greatest technologicl achievement in history! True American heros!

BTW Mike, did you hear that during the restoration process of the original video that someone at NASA accidentally erased a large protion of the original and that some of the restoration had to be acquired from other sources ?

Unbelievable that someone could be that careless with a piece of history as important as the fist video on the moon.

Ken: I did hear that they lost a bunch of the original video. Very hard to believe they didn't have backups of something of such importance.
