Thanks for the post Mike. Rush , despite what the left would have people believe, has provoked independent thinking by conservatives more than any person in history next to Ronald Reagan.
I also congradulate him on his contract renewal making 400 million over the next eight years. Captialism at its finest!

CBS/AP) Rush Limbaugh could see a deal with prosecutors in a long-running prescription fraud case collapse after authorities found a bottle of Viagra in his bag at Palm Beach International Airport. The prescription was not in his name.
Limbaugh was detained for more than three hours Monday at the airport after returning from a vacation in the Dominican Republic. Customs officials found the Viagra in his luggage but his name was not on the prescription, said Paul Miller, a spokesman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Miller said the alleged violation could be a second-degree misdemeanor. The sheriff's office was investigating and will soon turn the case over to the state attorney's office, which had no immediate comment Tuesday.
Under the deal reached last month with prosecutors, Limbaugh was not to be arrested for any infraction for 18 months in exchange for authorities deferring a charge of "doctor shopping." Prosecutors had alleged the conservative talk-show host illegally deceived multiple physicians to receive overlapping painkiller prescriptions.
I don't always agree with him but I agree with 95% of what he says, which is higher than any other radio personality. I also appreciate the impact he has had for the good of this country.

I really think we can see Shaw's delusion here on greatness. At best, all Obama has obtained is a footnote: "the first black presidential candidate in the United States." Since Obama has done nothing as a Senator, not being the first black senator, there is nothing else to note. He has also offered nothing new in the way of a platform, so still, nothing notable. In fact, all he has done is show himself to be a Carter Democrat. Every plan he has offered is reflective of Mr. Mediocrity himself, Jimmy Carter. Just not sure where the words "greatness" and "Obama" have any real business being used in the same sentence.
However, Rush has achieved greatness. He led the way in the new media to give a voice to those who were sick and tire of the MSM, which is now in disarray, failing business wise, and has lost so much credibility that hardly anyone outside the MSM take it seriously.
I hope he has another 20 years of radio talk shows ahead of him.
