I just heard this Sat AM and should have known you'd be up on it. I'm watching the speeches in Colorado where thise 12,000. flags are being put to good use.

Yes am thankful those flags were saved from a disrespectful trashing. Kudos to people in Denver who still honor one of the most potent symbols of the United States.

I will remind you again, that Gov. Palin's address to the Alaska Independence Party convention had the same tone and substance as one any elected official might direct to the meeting of the Chamber of Commerce. I am speaking from my experience both in the White House and work for U.S. Senator Alphonse D'Amato.
I also note that nowhere in Gov. Palin's address did she endorse any secessionist views and no secessionist views are included in the platform of the AIP which is reproduced in the following comment:

I am not aware if any members of the AIP believe in secession. If you are insinuating that some may and that Sarah Palin is endorsing that view by agreeing to welcome the convention then let's apply that same logic to the Democrats:
In the past, Democrats, including Senator Robert Byrd, a former elected leader of the Ku Klux Klan, have expressed the view that black people are inferior and that segregation is the right policy to follow. Therefore, using your logic attached to Gov. Palin's address to AIP, Barack Obama believes blacks are inferior and should be segregated.
Again, "Arthur" I invite you to retract the multiple unfounded smears you have leveled at Sarah Palin without equivocation.
Failure to do so means you are not a serious individual and no one should bother reading or responding to your opinions.
The choice is yours. Choose wisely!

One last time "Arthur" there is nothing in the AIP which demands secession from the United States and there is no statement from Sarah Palin saying that she would support any such move (obviously since none exists).
If you are unable to grasp the fundamental reality here and retract your smears then I will not permit you to continue spreading them.

arthur is grasping at straws. The deal is done and the next Pres and Veep will be McCain and Palin siple as that.
