Under a fascist regime those protesters would not have had the chance to protest. If they did manage to say anything, they would be taken out back and shot.
But here, they were merely escorted from the area for disturbing a peaceable assembly and sent on their way, alive and healthy.

Bush went to war with Iraq. he won that war when the hussein gov't fell. that's the definition of military victory. the fact that an insurgency occurred afterwards does not diminish the victory.
the fact that the Iraqi people have a gov't of their own choice now and not one forced upon them is a victory for the people over the insurgency which wants to force their own brand of gov't upon the people.
and it is an even greater victory for the people of Iraq because what they did they did under the threat of death if they proceeded. and this victory is more obvious every day as the newly elected gov't takes greater control of the iraqi destiny.
so, hoop, all you and those of your ilk have to say in regards to it means nothing because it can't deny or change the facts.

and they made the same mistake Sadaam made. they didn't count on Bush standing up to them in defiance as he did.
