Clinton was probably too busy brokering peace in Northern Ireland for an Elizabeth photo op, something neither the Queen, her kids, or the beloved "People's Princess" seemed all that keen on.
You might have noticed some progress on that front today. And it had nothing to do with Clinton.
Of course it had to do with Clinton, certainly not the Queen.And by showering Yasser Arafat with attention, did you mean setting up some of the first meetings between Palestinians and Israelis, bringing Arafat and Ehud Barak together at Camp David?? What did Reagan do besides attack Lebanon? What has Bush done to make peace anywhere in the world? Clinton at least tried in Israel, N. Ireland, Somalia, Serbia / Bosnia etc.
Now, before you point out the results of Somalia, I would like to point you towards the mess Bush has made in Iraq and that he has failed in capturing Bin Laden in Afghanistan.
