DING DING DING DING DING!!!!! -13.... How High can this go???

Clinton was probably too busy brokering peace in Northern Ireland for an Elizabeth photo op, something neither the Queen, her kids, or the beloved "People's Princess" seemed all that keen on.

Gravatar You might have noticed some progress on that front today. And it had nothing to do with Clinton.

Gravatar Of course it had to do with Clinton, certainly not the Queen. And by showering Yasser Arafat with attention, did you mean setting up some of the first meetings between Palestinians and Israelis, bringing Arafat and Ehud Barak together at Camp David?? What did Reagan do besides attack Lebanon? What has Bush done to make peace anywhere in the world? Clinton at least tried in Israel, N. Ireland, Somalia, Serbia / Bosnia etc.

Now, before you point out the results of Somalia, I would like to point you towards the mess Bush has made in Iraq and that he has failed in capturing Bin Laden in Afghanistan.

Republicans, the peace hating war mongers / war profiteers.

Gravatar Beautiful Pictures Mike,

It must have been a magical moment to meet the Queen let alone working for the President's

I am one of the Queen Hat collector's lol

She sure had a good time, good for her. The lefty's sure tried to make a big deal out of Bush' little flub, but the Queen laughed it off and had a great time.

Maybe the lefty's are jealous that the Queen doesnt come around to often and visit the Democrat's. Hmmm who would want to anyway?

Gravatar Thanks Marie. This post was for you. Delusional moonbat comments like Toadbat are just icing on the royal cake.

We'd all be speaking German or Russian if it wasn't for the "warmongers."

Idiot Toadbat!

Gravatar The Queen is a single woman. She just didn't trust slick willie.

Gravatar Thank's Mike

I Love your pictures and stories.

Gravatar Nice pictures
You should copyright them.

Gravatar Mike typed:

Funny, but she never made a State Visit during the Clinton years. But then, the Clinton's were too busy showering Yasser Arafat with attention. Lotta good that did.

Ah if only President Clinton had invited the Queen for a visit during his terms.

Al Qaeda would never have attacked the US.

Right?

Gravatar LCDD (Liberal Cognitive Dissonance Disorder) strikes again.

Gravatar Her Majesty is keen enough to recognize a friend from poser. It is no surprise she never found time to schedule a visit during the Clintonista years.

Gravatar Speaking of LCDD: I had to explain to an aged female photographer covering the Winterthur Point to Point that "Salman Pak" was NOT an individual but the name given to a terrorist training ground discovered after the successful liberation of Iraq. Also, she truly believed that the physical description of WMD's consisted of vats of glowing, green material.

I kid you not.

Yawn.

If there are any critters on earth more superfluous than the British royal family I can't imagine who they might be.

Fun to watch the rubes get all hetted up here at Mikes America though when the lady with the horrible hats turns up.

Gravatar Truth be told:

"Some former top Iraq war commanders are taking the highly unusual step of appearing in TV ads that take on the president's policy, CBS News' Peter Maer reports. Retired Maj. Gen. John Batiste, a self-described lifelong Republican, said the U.S. is on a "slow grind to nowhere in an Iraq mired in civil war." "

Gravatar Answer: Arthur Stone, Toadie, Ken Hoop.

Gravatar Truth be told:

Terrorist sentenced to death in Iraq

"The Central Criminal Court of Iraq, where U.S. troops often are called to testify against those they arrest, announced 33 more convictions, including one death-penalty case involving attacks on U.S. troops in Ramadi. According to U.S. military officials, the Algerian man sentenced to death was captured Aug. 24, 2006, near Ramadi. He was convicted of belonging to the Jaysh al-Islam terrorist group and of carrying out attacks against troops. “The individual admitted to conducting an attack against an American convoy and personally shooting down an American helicopter. He also admitted to participating in an attack against U.S. Marines around Haditha,.."

Gravatar Skye: Most liberals think "Salman Pak" is an entree at the Outback Steak House.

Funny how easy it is to yank Negative Neville's ("Arthur") chain. Just mention Clinton and bammo... off to the races.

Must be something to all this Clinton stuff if Neville gets so upset by the mere mention of the name.

Gravatar That is awesome that you got to be there for that visit in 91. Clinton was too busy with Arafat and many other things, like a thong wearing intern.

Gravatar "Her Majesty," Skye? Don't you live in Philly? There was a time when such fawning over a foreign Monarch would have gotten you tarred and feathered in that city!

Gravatar "Chris:" If you had half a brain you would know that this is the proper way to address the Queen of United Kingdom.

Just as a person with manners would address the Pope as "Your Holiness."

Perhaps the world you live in is one without any standards, traditions or cultural guideposts. But something tells me that's not a happy world.

Gravatar Chris, you are ignorant.

The Queen of England has no official power in the English government. Youre over 100 years out of date.

Ask John Kerry who was elected president in 2004.

Youre a liar.

Gravatar Ah if only President Clinton had invited the Queen for a visit during his terms.

Maybe she knew what he did to Juanita Broaddrick and didn't feel like getting raped. Women can be odd like that sometimes, can't you, Shitsmear?

Gravatar Hello Stoned!

Ah yes, Juanita Broaddrick (sic). Yawn.

Long time no see.

Nice to know your fixation with human waste is still intact.

Well done.

Gravatar Nice to know your fixation with human waste is still intact.

You mean "Stoned Arthur"'s fixation with "Arthur Stone"? I don't know if I'd call it a "fixation"; but yes: You certainly are a human waste.

Gravatar I believe I heard that none of her visits to the US came under Democrat administrations.

Gravatar It appears you aren't getting enough sleep arthur with all your yawning. Is your new partner keeping you up at night?

Maybe you should stick to blogs you are intelligent enough to comment on like Sesame Street, I hear elmo could use some company but don't make your new partner mad if big bird comes around.

Nice coverage of the visit from the Queen Mike. The British still want to keep their Royalty and I do hope it skips a genration though I really don't care much for Charles and Camilla. I rather prefer Harry, he is quite a stunning young man.

Gravatar Or not, Philly was never quite friendly to those who supported an independence from England. Quite frankly, the citizens at the time were fence sitters in this debate.

Gravatar Really? You will keep Freedom Now's barely literate rant against me posted, but delete my comment?

You really are a bit of a wuss, Mike.

Gravatar I have to attend a wedding in London this summer, I better not have to wear a hat.

Bush Sr. is looking good still.

Funny, I'm married to an Englishman, and he couldn't have cared less about the visit, but Americans seem to go batty over royals.

Gravatar OFF TOPIC: A little distraction for your reading pleasure.

Gravatar I bet its cool to see a queen though. I mean you read about her in school and history but how often does an average person get to see a real queen? Probably not often. Politics are so complicated. Sorry I havent stopped in lately. I couldnt get your site to come up till now. I think its my computer that wouldnt bring it up.

Gravatar Tweety: I put too much audio/video and photos up here and that sometimes makes some computers a bit cranky.

Google's Blogger can also act up.

Glad you got through today.

Gravatar I have a new respect for Elizabeth II.

She was able to stand next to Barbara Bush during a photo op and not even flinch.

Well done!

And bye the bye Mike thanks for not posting my responses to the doody jokes of Stoned Arthur and wordsmith.

Mission Accomplished!

Gravatar Now you are just slinging mud because Barbara Bush is the sweetest gal around.

Saddam Hussein's last words, "Mission Accomplished!"

Cheers

Gravatar I've haven't cut any comments Artie poo. Too busy.

Frankly, you're the best advertisement for the GOP we have. You and KKK Ken.

Keep insulting decent people like Mrs. Barbara Bush. it simply shows anyone who does not know you how shallow your politics are.

Gravatar Mrs. Bush is a sweetheart:

March 18, 2003 Regarding Iraq.

'Why should we hear of body bags and deaths? It's not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?

Why indeed.

September 5, 2005 regarding Katrina refugees quartered in the Astrodome in Houston.

'And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, are underprivileged anyway, so this, is working very well for them.'

What a decent people she is Mike.

Gravatar Oh Shit! You are right Arthur. I hate Barbara, Yikes! I thought you were talking about Laura.

Thats my woman, dont you touch her.

(I'm really gonna be confused when Jeb becomes president.)

Anyways, while W's daughter, the other Barbara, is catching wild stares; I think W's niece, Lauren, is next on my list...

Lauren on the left and Barbara on the right.

Gravatar With all the insuslts the
'progressives' are tossing out about a foreign head of state, we ought to be thankful they are not employed at the State Department or the UK would have declared war on the US by now.

Insignificant compared to what she gets at home.

But I certainly don't mean to denigrate the accomplishments of Elizabeth II.

The greatest by far having been born into the House of Windsor.

Gravatar Good point Anna. And of course many of these same progressives will swallow the party line that the U.S. has alienated our allies.

They usually say that before insulting our allies.

But of course everything in their world is BUSH'S FAULT. And, like children, THEY are never held accountable for anything.

Gravatar Freedom Now:

Thanks for the link to the photos of the younger generation of Bushes.

Aren't they just about the right age for military service?

As dangerous a time as this is for the republic I can't imagine how anyone wouldn't want to step up and do their part.

Gravatar Arthur,

Instead of beating around the Bush why dont you just come out and say it?

Gravatar I thought so...

Bush's children have the right to self determination. He cant tell them what to do with their lives and neither can you.
