Given that we are in drought conditions in several agricultural areas do you think it would be a good trade off to lower our agricultural yield further when we might be able to conserve and save our water resources which are more valuable than oil?

I suppose using water to extract oil from shale would be a lot more practical and energy efficient than wasting the water and top soil growing food and turning it into an inefficient and government subsidized fuel source. Not many leftists are smart enough to figure that out. Drilling in the Arctic circle and off the Continental shelf would be even more efficient

They object to wind power. They use environmental regulations to block solar projects. Of course they are scared to death of nuclear power (but somehow it's fine for the Iranians to get a nuclear bomb. And they don't want us to drill ANYWHERE in the U.S.
They have NO solution to our present problem except conservation which is NOT a solution. Conservation only would KILL the U.S. economy. But then, that's fine with them and it's been their ojective all along.
