You say these explosive devices that are killing our troops are supposed to be coming from Iran according to our intelligence gathering Mr. President. My question to you Mr. president is; Since we had faulty information due to the lack of reliable intelligence gathering capabilities because the previous administration had cut the intelligence agency funding and relied mainly on satellite imagery what have you done to strengthen our intelligence gathering capabilities since then so we can rely on the information they forward to you so you may be able to make the correct decisions on what steps to take to defend the nation and position our troops in the best places in order to win this conflict?
Mike, doesn't the reaction by the press and the Dems remind you of a similar reaction for nearly 40 years to the Soviet Union. Fear of action or even strong words because it might offend them into striking the US or allies ? The main difference between Iran and CCCP is that MAD will not check Iran as it did CCCP. Their Islamic fanatic death wish will cause them to use the bomb when they have it and they will not hesitate to expand because we are stronger. Even the Soviets gave pause when faced with US strength. I guess the Reagan example of how to deal with rogue states and the out come in dealing with them as he did has been forgotten.
