I'm not a Pelosi fan by any means but it seems strange to me that she would make such a statement. She's no rookie, she's been around the block and she doesn't say anything she hasn't given considerable thought to. Is it even remotely possible that she said this to hurt him? I believe this statement along with any other religious references will only hurt his campaign. They always say that politics makes strange bedfellows. We will never know the pressures that pushed her into endorsing Obama. The fact that she did doesn't mean she wanted to. I look forward to any other back handed help? she or other leading dems may give him. Our country is in way too much trouble to have such an inexperienced man in office.

And with regard to gas prices, let me remind you that it was Nancy Pelosi who ran on the fact that she was going to lower gas prices. Yet here we are with $4.00 a gallon gas and Pelosi and her fellow Demoncrats went on vacation! They have done nothing but obstruct every effort to provide energy relief, so spare me the "it's Bush's fault" cr@p and put the blame exactly where it belongs!
That's a good point Kanaka Girl. Pelosi accepted responsibility for gas prices when she ran on a platform to LOWER them from the $2.33 mark they were when she took over.

President Bush and his compatriots have made it fashionable to invoke the G-word. If a politician today does not bring God's name into his or her comments, he or she is toast.
