This is one of the most bizarre things I have ever seen. I'm not sure why he was stopped from speaking in the first place, except that he was putting John in an uncomfortable place. John Kerry stood there like a deer caught in the headlights - what a leader! STRANGE

The guy was a left wing crackpot to be sure.
But who is to blame here?
Surely the campus police over reacted in a MAJOR WAY.
But John Kerry just sat there as you said Flag Gazer.
He could have stopped the guy himself at ANY TIME. But he didn't even try!
So much for his courage!
I blame this idiots college professors too. Instead of teaching students HOW to think, they are teaching them WHAT to think.

Mike - for some bizarre reason, I became interested in this story - have read numerous accounts and seen way too much video. All I can gather is that there was stuff going on with him before the video we see and he cut in line to ask his questions - what we see is not the first contact with the campus police, but tazing someone with 6 people on top of him - I don't get that. However, they were responsible for the safety of a US Senator and this kid was threatening and nuts and Kerry was stunned and helpless.
Much of the blame for this escalation is the lack of moral fiber and courage of Kerry to take control of the situation. When they had the kid on the ground, Kerry says, "I'll answer his question." He doesn't, of course. Kerry's statement about this is more than reprehensible - but, I repeat myself!
I agree, it is evident that they are not taught HOW to think - to process information and formulate questions. They are taught to FEEL. And they base their opinion on 'feelings' not on facts or logic. He 'feels' that there is a deep conspiracy and it is his deep responsibility to bring it to light.
These kids are the legacy of of left - how fitting that one of the leaders of that idiocy has it come back at him.

FG: I didn't see any pre-question behavior. But clearly, this kid was not behaving with the common decency, manners and respect for others, let alone a government official that you or I would think appropriate.
But as we've seen time and again with these moonbats like Code Pink interrupting Congressional hearings, these people place their rights to free speech ABOVE that of others.
This is the corrupting consequence of being told you have "absolute moral authority" (as Maureen Dowd described Cindy Sheehan) to protest.

I think the kid, Meyer, was out of line. He was disruptive, resisted the police, and escalated the situation. He's to blame for putting himself in this predicament.
A bit of pain can be good for the soul. I'm glad he got tasered. It's not like he had his legs broken and his teeth kicked in. It's just pain, not injury.

From later reports it's suggested that the kid is a bit of a publicity hound.
Publicity hound +liberal moonbat= Total Fool.
No doubt he'll get the Cindy Sheehan award.

The phrase "Don't tase me, man!" is gonna be around a long time.
Almost as long as "it's Bush's fault."
Almost.
