I found a picture of the 1909 snow storm - the last in Baghdad. I remember my 'first snow' and can imagine what a great day it was for them.

While i admit the pictures are cute and kinda cool to see peopel actually smiling in the middle east...Um, actually that IS more evidence of global climate change. It shouldn't be happening, and with everything else going on weatherwise, people should be paying attention.

I live on the Southeast coast. The tides of the Atlantic lap a few hundred yards from my back door. And of course we are concerned about hurricanes. But a few years back we were told that manmade global warming caused the terrible hurricane year we had with Rita and Katrina and predictions were that worse was to come.
Then, the next year was the quietest hurricane year in ten years, nearly matched by this past year.
The sad truth is Beth, that the notion of manmade global warming is a LIE.
And I'll be happy to discuss my environmental credentials just as soon as you share yours with me.

There are records of freak snows in places like Florida and Southern California that go even farther back than the left's panic over "global cooling". Go figure.

Ya so much for global warming, it was only 50 on Christmas in Chicago and 65 here last weekend. Last year on New Years Eve I went without a coat. And lets forget about the whole ice cap melting thing too.
I love it when people try to debunk global warming by showing a picture of snow in the desert or snow in April. The funniest part is that they are usually the same people who say global warming is real but not man made, then they say it doesn't exist at all if it snows in Arizona.
