In this day and age of soaring gas prices and "cap and trade" threats... well, I try to combine a lot of chores into one outing. I don't think cards affect men like they do women... I really don't think they (ya'll) get most of them.
Now, one of my favorite pastimes is to stand in the Shoebox isle of my Hallmark store and read the cards. Over the years I have laughed myself silly more than once doing this, though lately I find an increasing number of these cards to be tactless, in poor taste and really rather vulgar. The cards are reflecting the state of our culture more and more and making me laugh less and less.
I do hope your Father's Day card met your every expectation. I am still waiting for my birthday, Valentine's and Mother's Day cards from my daughter. Apparently, she has them but has this genetic (on her father's side) predisposition to procrastination, when it comes to mailing them.
Whoa, I'd better close now... I'm a bit dizzy after typing all those big words... better sit a spell.

I was so happy to have my dad visiting with us over Father's Day. He is still here, and we have one more week before he heads home to CA.
