Gravatar Clearly Al Qeada is threatened by the idea of a President Obama. Their recruiting will be decimated, as the world is now looking fondly on America again. I think that American Al qeada guy, Adam Gaddan I think was his name, must have suggested all that "house negro" stuff, because I doubt they would have known to say it otherwise.

A guy named Barack Hussein Obama won the presidency in the United States. There will be a lot of people around the world that will have a tough time believing all of the negative talk about the US with that little factoid out there.

Gravatar Also, check out this posting over at Counter Terrorism Blog: http://counterterrorismblog.org/ ..._and_the_ri.php

The expert there thinks this was a major strategic mistake for Al Queada: "By playing the race card so quickly and so brazenly, al-Zawahiri may end up causing backlash against Al-Qaida in the very constituencies he is seeking to woo. It also invites the question, how is this a legitimate criticism coming from the senior leadership of Al-Qaida, which is dominated almost solely by Arab Egyptians and Saudis? Moreover, what would Malcolm X have thought of an organization, Al-Qaida, that at one time offered a higher salary to its Arab membership than its Black African adherents? One might imagine that the financial guru responsible for overseeing this inequitable arrangement -- Egyptian national Mustafa Abu al-Yazid -- would have been punished for his bigoted actions. In fact, al-Yazid has since been promoted to the number 3 position in Al-Qaida, right behind Dr. al-Zawahiri."

Gravatar See? Leave it to D-Splash to drop the actual factuals on AQ and their whacked out woofin'!

With GW about to be tail lights - AQ will need to look elsewhere to keep their 'base' intact. You'd have to figure that might actually be some country other than the U.S. now that the world is feelin' the Obama love.

Thanks for the holler, D-Splash!

Gravatar As soon as I saw this headline I knew you'd be all over it Ty. I'm confused about how "al-Zhit" thinks that President-Elect Obama will essentially be a "figurehead" for business as usual when he was elected on a platform of "change". He'll be accountable to the American people who elected him, not to other Washington bureaucrats. So business as usual wouldn't be a smart way for him to get re-elected.
Also Smooth has stated previously that it is important for us to dialogue with those nations who have issues with us so al-Zhit should be happy. At least Smooth might be willing to sit down in a meeting and listen to their nonsense before he says "Hell naw y'all ain't developing a nuclear program. Forget dat shit." I'm sure he's just pissed because Obama has already pledged his continued support to Israel and intends to stir things up in Afghanistan. Maaaan! Things a brotha gotta put up with! Ups to D-Splash for the breakdown! Truly a man who's done his homework!
