Your last paragraph says it all bro..."out of touch with changing times". Until the republican party leadership really decides to pubically distance itself from people like Flush, Ann, Michelle and other high profile spokes persons for the "disillusioned Right", the general public will continue to assume they represent the party at large. The rhetoric they spew is sooo old and tired. Younger voters are increasingly more estute and socially conscious. Young people of all races and classes are finding they have more in common. The good ole boys mentality of the 1950's just isn't appealing to anyone other than pissed off old white rebublicans.
Suddenly the term "Identity Politics" has come into vogue. Have those jack-asses forgotten that they were playing "Identity Politics" when they put gave Say Pay the VP nomination? Or are they too stupid or hypocritical to see the comparison? Thank God the country wasn't gullible enough to fall for that nonsense
