They have grown up beautifully!.
I am always struck by how similar your area is to ours. These photos could have been taken at some of our farms!
I havent seen swans on our irrigation ditches, however we do get a lot of Great Blue Herons. We also get salmon as long as almost 3 ft long and occasionally a seal!
I am glad to read of old Jufo still getting out with you. Does he not try to chase the swans.

I loved this swan story. We go to the park where we can watch the ducks and geese. I hope the missing swans are okay.

This was a wonderful post Herman! We dont have swans here normally. If there are any they are Tundra swans on the way North.

I loved the story of the swans. They are so elegant. I want to think Daddy is coming a short ways behind with the other two babies. In this way he can protect all of them. The photos and story are so beautiful.

Swans are such elegant looking birds. Thank you for sharing your photos.
The trumpeter swans winter in the marshes at the Grant Narrows regional park near us. I hope to make a vist there to see them this winter.
Take care and hope you have a great week.
