Gravatar Wow! Well said!

Gravatar Here,here! I agree!

Gravatar Eh, it's the sales. People are taught that they can get all the good things, and that they have to run. It's capitalism at its finest.

Me- I woke up bright and early at the crack of dawn, and my fiance and I loaded up the car. With two dogs, and a thermos full of coffee, and drove up and over to Central Park to park at a meter for 2 hours.

I shot a roll of film, and then put the camera away. We wandered about, delighting in the near-empty park, and then bought two slices of horridly overpriced pizza for breakfast, and went back to suffer through alternate side parking.

I've never been a good consumer. Except of film and pizza.

Hope you get to spend some time with your family today, and that yesterday was as wonderful as possible.

Gravatar you make me laugh...i kill you last
(nobody takes that literally, right?)

Gravatar eww, who wants to get up at the crack of dawn to be a part of a shopping frenzy where the participants look like a herd of cattle busting through the front door?
I spent the morning all snuggled up next to my husband until it was time for him to get up and go into work.
I can go shopping anytime.

Gravatar I had Heidi Klum from the Target to wake me up at 8am.... then I went back to sleep.

Gravatar I went to crazy Haywood Mall in Greenville. Same story. No parking. Crowds. I tried on something at J Crew and annoying sales clerk accosted me asking if I wanted to get it, I said yes, and she whisked me to the front of the line and I got to check out in front of about 13 other POed customers. Oh well. 'Tis the season to be jolly...

Gravatar Wow, this is so unlike you....

I wasn't out shopping at the crack of dawn. Instead, I was at the airport sending my "sister" and her three kids back home. So, instead I spent my morning crying at her departure. The only sad part about moving from Maryland was leaving her and her kids. And it kills me everytime to say goodbye to her.

But then, unfortunately I have to admit afterward I had to go to Target to get Gretel her major birthday present, cuz her birthday is around the corner. I was surprised though. By 10 a.m., the Target wasn't very packed, and I was in and out of there by 1045, a new record for a Black Friday.

I hope the rest of your Christmas holiday spirit doesn't remain in this same note...

Gravatar The day after Thanksgiving...I went to work.

And it was far more fun than shopping. (In a mall, anyway. I do enjoy a good grocery shop).
