The gap may narrow a bit but the Republicans will still be running things after the November elections.

What the Dems don't seem to understand is that the American people are a lot more aware than the Dems give them credit for being AND they are getting really fed up with all the negativity being spewed.

Ultimately, this will skew the election (thank God) in the Republicans' favor AND make 2008 VERY difficult for the Dems - whoever the nominee.
