OK, I'll throw an oldy at you. In the 1974 TV movie "The Execution of Private Slovik" about the first soldier executed for desertion since the Civil War, as Eddie is being led through the snow to the firing squad somewhere in Europe, we hear Bing Crosby singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". Ruined that as a holiday song for me forever. If you haven't seen it, rent it immediately!
