The "Republican" candidate leans further to the left than the socialist we have in now, both the Democrats are disgusted that the Bush-eviks are not at least as leftist socialist as they are, and the Libertarians shoot themselves in the foot all the time by pushing fagits'/dopers' rights as their major platform planks, which screws their chances of ever seeing the inside of ANY political office, let alone the White House.
Don't take Barack Obama's website/schtick seriously. He will probably win, but all that stuff will most likely go out the window and he'll show his true colors, whatever they may be. If it's radical racism, the Congress will not support it. At this point, it looks like we could do a lot worse.
This is a "damage control" election and everyone knows it. People have to choose the putz they figure will suck least, and deal with the consequences if they get it wrong. I assume of course, with my prediction, that the fix is not already in.
