Fix environment without U.S., Gore tells climate change summit
Vancouver Sun, Dec. 14/07
Gore is right - don't let the US-Canada team hijack the Bali agreement. A 'majority' agreement that names Canada and the US as holdouts should make it clear to all Canadians that their current gov. does NOT represent their views.

What I do not understand, is how these idiots get away with this..first the Commonwealth, where we are made fun of, and now we are a laughing stock of the world, making us feel ashamed to be Canadian. How far can this government go, before the people wake up, to what they are really doing ?

"He then went to a meeting of representatives from the so-called Umbrella group countries, which include Japan, Ukraine, New Zealand and Australia, because he felt that this smaller gathering was more important, federal officials said."
These countries are all pro-nuke countries, aren't they? It'd be interesting to see if the Ozzies would shed any light on that meeting.
