The Galloping Beaver

Gravatar Great post, Rev!

Perhaps some additional goat sacrifices in the US could unsnarl the air traffic control system.

Let's see, two goats for LAX, three for Chi-Town and probably a dozen for the mess around the friendly skies of Atlanta should do it.

If not, no doubt pope bennie could sprinkle some holy water over the whole mess and "Poof"! It works just fine . . . .

Gravatar Evidently the Maoists don't have a finger on the state airlines . . . .

Gravatar you obviously don't have a very educated opinion of the vast majority of Christianity... typical Atheistic jargon, forgo logic and reason in debates and lump that which you are afraid of in with a tiny sect of outspoken radicals...

funny post though

Gravatar the Catholic Church are a group of outspoken radicals?....Well, you said it, I didn't.

Unlike some of my Atheist siblings, I have a great deal of admiration for some religious groups, like the Quakers for example and some of the buddhist sects. I admire their discipline and practices of trying to do good works and not trying to convert unbelievers.

I have a very broad experience of a lot of different religions, especially Christians (of a wide variety of stripes) and Buddhists (mainly Japanese) so don't start accusing me of speaking from total ignorance.

And by all means, do explain to me how sacrificing a goat, prayer and the "power of positive thinking" are any different from just wishing really hard that reality will change in some kind of supernatural way. Go ahead, explain, we could all use a good laugh.
