Wow, but that column of Kay's got up my nose. Zero-sum game and most of the other fallacies in the book. Heaven forfend that people should be able to entertain more than one thought or one view, or feel compassion without turning it into a competition.

Notice the nice little touch of ethnic bigotry as well? "Canadian-born men do not believe in violence against women ..."

And Kay seems to think that 6 Dec, the memorial, has a global reach. That's disingenuous bullshit. It shows she doesn't get out much. If you go to the States, the UK, Germany, you'll hear next to nothing about it.

Well I'll be, I got all three correct despite not having read any of the writings of the respective individuals quoted. I worked out my guesses by thinking the least insane sounding (remember, only in relation to each other, on a broader evaluation they are all fairly insane IMHO) would be LePine, the most those nutbars at LFR (should be LIR/Let Ignorance Reign) leaving the middle crazy from the national post. What it says about the respective folks from the NP and LFR that this method successfully identified each writer I leave up to each to take away for themselves.

Good post and one with my full agreement on its underlying point.
