Poor Ibbitson. He got everything wrong about politics in Canada and has been sent back to the U.S. on the terrible assumption that he might get something right there. So what does he do? He spends the first few months talking to the members of waning right-wing religious groups. He just doesn't get it.
I'll give him credit. I wrote to him and pointed out the Greenwald's column was written on the *very same day* as his column, and he was kind enough to acknowledge that a) he had received my e-mail and b) actually gone and read Greenwald's piece and his comments.
I'll at least give him credit for that.
