Theres a letter writing campaign underway at ACR. Frank Frink has gotten the advertisers emails, and sites listed.
It seems small, and nutty, but nipping it in the bud isn't a bad idea. The media concentration in Canada is the worst in the world, and this kind of stuff tends to go through each chain.

I recently found your site thru C&L and I love it. As a longtime Toronto resident I can tell you a bit about the Sun's past - It used to be a pro NDP paper and really pushed itself as a pro union paper. Within the last 5-10 years while I wasnt watching it somehow became this Conservative Rag that you have noted. At one time the paper was owned by the employees - I guess they sold out!

J Comando, thanks for that. I thought a lot of the Sun labeled newspapers were originally labour oriented in the past. I guess the Quebcor takeover changed all that.

the sun - run by Peter Worthington for years - has always fancied itself a populist blue-collar tabloid with lots of stereo ads, an extensive sports section and, of course, the Sunshine Girl. It's editorials have general been to the right of the reform party movement.
