The Galloping Beaver

Gravatar I grew up during the 50's surrounded by these crazies and they've only gotten crazier as they glimpsed what political power could grant them.

Did you read the piece in Sunday's NYT Magazine about their decline?

Warmed my heart it did.

Gravatar I don't think the US religious right is dying, it isn't even wounded.

Their organization skills in local and state levels in social and economic conservatism is extensive, entrenched and this crowd are in it for the long haul. Their blatent disregard for the separate of church and state is a badge of honour.

Having seen the FRC go after Blumenthal online I don't know how long he's going to be able to bring us these videos.

John Hagee's crowd kicked him out, but he had enough footage to let the rest of us see extremism. And he did it again with the Value Voters crowd, many of who wouldn't miss a CUfIT event. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m...h?v=mjMRgT5o- Ig

The comments at the Huffington Post VV video were interesting, more thoughtful and less neanderthal than usual.

Gravatar This crowd's use of the Islamofascist term - which they made up - continues to amaze me. Do they not realize the inherent contradiction of terms ? ? ? ?
